RockeTruck is partnering with AVL Mobility Technologies to manufacture compact battery modules. The unique “Cassette Battery” designed by AVL stores 3 kWh and can deliver up to 691 volts DC in a package no larger than a desktop computer. With AVL’s innovative backplane design, hundreds of Cassettes can easily be connected in parallel to meet higher energy storage and power requirements. The Cassette Battery also incorporates unique safety features that make it suitable for use in safety-critical applications such as aviation and aerospace. RockeTruck also designs and manufactures larger battery packs that can be customized to meet specific size, weight, energy storage, power, and voltage requirements.
